Accessibility Statement
Migraine Control is built to be calmer and easier to use when screens feel demanding. This statement explains current support, known testing gaps, and how to report a problem.
Last updated: July 27, 2026
Our Approach
We consider accessibility as the app evolves and use support reports to find barriers in common tasks. We describe only the support we can currently verify.
Current Support
- Dark, low-glare interface: the app uses a dark visual design intended to avoid bright, high-glare screens.
- Reduced Motion: the app responds to your device's Reduced Motion setting by reducing non-essential movement.
- Reduce Transparency: when this setting is enabled, the app uses more opaque surfaces instead of relying on translucent effects.
- More than color: text, shapes, and labels are used alongside color to communicate meaning.
Known Testing Gaps
We have not yet completed common-task testing with VoiceOver, Voice Control, or Larger Text. Because of that, we do not claim complete support for those features today. We will update this statement as testing and fixes progress.
Report An Accessibility Problem
If an accessibility issue prevents you from using a feature, email support@migrainecontrol.app. Helpful details include:
- Your device model and operating system version.
- The Migraine Control app version.
- What you were trying to do and what happened.
- The accessibility setting or assistive technology you were using.
Please do not send migraine diary entries or other personal details. Screenshots are optional; remove sensitive information before attaching one.
What Happens Next
We review accessibility messages as support requests, try to reproduce the problem, and reply with what we can confirm or what details we still need. We prioritize fixes by their impact on common tasks. We cannot promise a specific response or fix date.
