Who We Are

Migraine Control is developed by Botworks LLC. You can contact us about privacy, support, or deletion questions at support@migrainecontrol.app. This is the canonical contact address for Migraine Control.

Information You Add To The App

Migraine Control stores the migraine diary information you choose to enter, such as attack dates and times, severity, symptoms, impact, triggers, medications, relief, notes, and app preferences.

The app does not sell your data and does not use your migraine diary for advertising.

Cloud Sync Is Optional

By default, your migraine diary is kept on your device. If you turn on Cloud Sync, we use your email address for sign-in and store the sync data needed to make your diary available across your devices.

If you do not turn on Cloud Sync, your diary data stays local to your device unless you choose to export or share it.

Purchase And Payment Information

Migraine Control is sold as a one-time paid app where app store purchases are available. The app does not offer subscriptions or in-app purchases.

Payment processing, taxes, refunds, and payment method details are handled by the app store or payment provider you use to buy the app. Migraine Control does not collect or store your payment card, bank account, or app store payment method details inside the app. We may receive limited purchase, refund, tax, accounting, or support records from the app store as needed to operate and comply with legal obligations.

How We Use Information

We use your information only to provide app features, including:

• Saving and showing your migraine history.
• Creating reports you choose to generate.
• Signing you in and syncing data if you enable Cloud Sync.
• Handling support, purchase, refund, tax, accounting, or compliance requests related to app store purchases.
• Helping keep the app reliable and secure.

When Information Is Shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers needed to run the app, such as hosting, authentication, Cloud Sync, and email delivery providers, or if required by law.

These provider roles include website and hosted API infrastructure, authentication and session support for Cloud Sync sign-in, Turso database services for optional Cloud Sync storage and sync, and Amazon SES for email-code delivery. App stores and payment providers process one-time app purchase, refund, tax, accounting, and payment-method information. These providers process data for app functionality, purchase handling, support, and compliance.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including secure connections and access controls, to protect information handled by the app and its optional Cloud Sync services. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we aim to keep the data we handle limited and protected.

Retention And Deletion

Local diary data stays on your device until you delete it, reset the app, or remove the app from your device.

If you use Cloud Sync, you can delete cloud sync data from inside the app. Some short-lived technical logs or backups may remain for security and reliability, but they are not used to restore your account after deletion.

You can also request deletion of your Migraine Control account and associated Cloud Sync data at migrainecontrol.app/data-deletion.

Your Choices

• You can use Migraine Control without Cloud Sync.
• You can delete local entries in the app.
• You can delete Cloud Sync data from the app if Cloud Sync is enabled.
• You can request account and Cloud Sync data deletion from the data deletion page.
• You can contact us with privacy questions or deletion requests.

Migraine Control is a tracking tool. It is not a medical provider and does not give medical advice. Migraine Control is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Consult a healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.
